S Funnies

S can be a really hilarious kid.  He's quite clever for a three year old.  The word for a banana in French is banan, so the other day when we were driving S asked me "Hey Mom, what's a banat?  It's a Papa banana!"  and then he laughs and laughs.

Tonight we were reading the New Testament--the part where right after Jesus is baptized and Heavenly Father's voice is heard from heaven.  So, N was reading the children's scripture readers and said  "God spoke from heaven and said" and S interupted and said "Marhabatayn!"  So, "God spoke from heaven and said marhabatayn!"  Marhabatayn is Arabic for "And hello to you too!"  I laughed so hard I could hardly breathe!  S and B best friends are both from Arab speaking countries.  =)  And of course I studied Arabic in college.  That's my boy!
