Halloween

And finally, three days before Thanksgiving I get the Halloween pictures up.  We had a lot of fun.

TRUNK OR TREAT & WARD CHILI DINNER

We didn't realize the cupcakes were for a cake walk, so our family ate 10 cupcakes before dinner not realizing we were taking away from the game.  Oops!  Just trying to pacify the kids.  The dinner line was long!

CARVING PUMPKINS
Gotta love everyone in their undies . . .

 SCHOOL PARTIES & PARADE
B and Liesel.  They were playing Bingo.  Poor B.  He really likes games and the more parents and families that arrived the louder the room got and he couldn't hear the Mom calling out the coordinates so he broke down crying his heart out.

S was so proud to be the line leader at the parade and he was shaking his little spider shaker that he had made like crazy.  If you look in the background you will see N holding E and wearing the pirate's hat.

TRICK OR TREAT
We were invited to some friends to have dinner and go trick or treating with their group.  N had to work, so I took the kids.  The kids had a great time playing, dinner was good, but then it got a little awkward.  Turned out the DADS were taking the kids trick or treating while the Moms stayed and passed out candy.  So, I went trick or treating with the kids and a bunch of dads.  Somewhere in there it got so crowded that I lost the group and we were in a neighborhood I didn't know and didn't know the way back to the house we had left and everyone was running out of candy and turning their lights off.  That was kind of freaky, but we made our way back.

E was so tired and I kept expecting her to fall asleep at any minute, but she wanted those treats.  She hung onto her bucket with all her might and stayed awake in her stroller the whole time.  She was very into the dum dum suckers.

Having a second dinner after trick or treating and before going home.
