"Do Dishes!"

This is Momma's little helper. B's favorite thing to do is the dishes. It's the first thing he asks when he gets up "Dish! Dish! Do dishes!" He's always crawling into the kitchen and pushing a chair or anything he thinks he can stand on up to the sink and hopefully asking if we can do the dishes. He'll pat his chest and point at me "Do dishes! Dish!" So, we get the dishes done around our house thanks to B! He cries whenever the dishes are done and the only way to prevent that is to let him sweep the floor next! Nat brought him home a baby-sized broom which he dearly loves. B now carries his little broom everywhere with him. He even tries to take it to bed. What a sweet little helper!

Hard at Work

Here's my Nat, hard at work as usual. He took a week of vacation recently and spent it working on the kitchen. He repainted the walls the lovely tan color that you see because yellow was bugging my poor eyes and he put down a beatiful light colored floor! It looks 100 times better now. Thanks my sweetheart! We also took 2 days and went up to D.C. just to say we left town for a minute. That was really nice too. Less than a week later Bixente and I went up to D.C. for a long one day trip, but it was very good. I was asked to accompany a friend to the temple for the first time. It was really neat. Some kind friends drove up with me and played with Bixente in the visitors center while we were in the temple.

Lee Hall

On one of Nat's days off we decided to do some exploring and see some of the local historical sights. We went to Lee Hall which was a plantation here back before the Civil War. It's not as fancy as your Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana plantation homes, but aparently he was one of the wealthiest men in all of Virginia. His home is located on the oldest road the state has. 400 years old. It was pretty cool. We enjoyed ourselves.
