Sunday Stroll

On a Sunday evening we decided to take the boys up to the Yorktown battlefield and let B walk himself out. He loves just walking and walking and walking and inspecting the trees and grass. In true boy fashion he had to go up and come down the steepest parts of the hills instead of taking the easier paths. As you can see by the big grin on his face, Sebastien was enjoying being outside every bit as much as B was. He would do his little silent laugh every time we'd hit a bump. Apparently he likes off-roading in his stroller!

Snow!

It's a bit past the fact, but earlier this month we got some snow! Snow has been a rare sight while we've been in Virginia. I think this is the 3rd time we've seen snow since we came here. It only lasted 2 days before it melted and was 80 degrees, but B loved it while it lasted! He's been asking for snow "soon" every day since it melted.

I'm sorry there are no pictures to accompany this post. We tried to install some updates on our computer and crashed it instead. All of our pictures and documents were deleted. Thankfully we still have the pictures on the camera cards, but the computer won't let us download anything.

So, little Sebastien is almost 3 months old now. He is such a joy. He's a happy smiley little boy and has to have B in his sight at all times. If B gets out of his view he starts crying till B comes back. At S's 2 month appointment he weighed 15 pounds 8 ounces and was 25 1/2 inches long! We've got ourselves another big boy! He is VERY strong too. He can almost do an entire sit-up all on his own. He wants to see at all times and if he can't he just strains and grunts until he's half-way sitting up! When I put him on his tummy he turns around and around and around in circles. He is such a little cutie. We love him so much! Hopefully we'll get our computer fixed so I can put up some pictures soon!

"I Righteous"

I have a cute little story about B. Every night we read his children's scriptures. He loves to look at them and read to himself. He will turn the pages and say "Moses. Elijah. King. Righteous. Jesus." It's so precious. He's still my little helper and now starts taking laundry baskets to the washer and dumping the bathroom garbage out into the larger kitchen garbage all on his own while I'm feeding Sebastien. Lately he will come and say "I help. I righteous!" What a little angel boy. We love him so much! Obviously he is getting something out of our nightly scripture reading.

He's all boy! Bsaw me get the camera out, posed beautifully and just as I went to snap the shot he stuck the straw up his nose and instead of "Cheese!" He yelled "Nose!" Silly goose.

I love this shot. Bloves, loves, loves to cook. My nephew C used to be obsessed with his mom's Kitchen Aid. Our son loves the rice cooker.
