For Memorial Day, Nat and I were invited by our friends Anthony and Nadine and their son Jason to join them at Buckro Beach. It was our first time visiting any of Virginia's beaches. We had a great time with them, and it turns out the beach is only 15 minutes from our house!
And since Nat has a Tuesday-Saturday schedule at work, Tuesday was his holiday so we decided to make it a weekend at the beaches and just the 2 of us went and visited famous Virginia Beach. It was a gorgeous day! We enjoyed walking along the beach and window shopping in all the beach/tourist shops and treated ourselves to pizza and icecream. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend.
