I am the Girls Camp director for the young women at our church this year. Before bringing the girls to camp in June I was asked to make sure they all know how to build, maintain, and extinguish a fire properly. We had a fire building clinic in our back yard. The girls were all so excited. I was shocked when one burst out with "Are we really going to roast hot dogs on a fire? Cool!!! I've only ever seen that done on TV!" Poor girls, what they've missed out on. But, they're no longer missing out on that classic pass-time.

A Fire Building Clinic
