June 8th we celebrated Nat's 30th birthday with fondue (man it was good!) and homemade apple pie. We really had fun. This year for his birthday, Nat got all the ESPN and other sports channels that would be showing the World Cup of soccer in Germany, so we've been watching a lot of soccer around here lately. Actually, it's been really fun! Yesterday France played South Korea. I had fallen asleep on the couch waiting for the game to start and woke up with a French soccer jersey spread out over me! Nat being the sweetheart that he is, didn't want to wake me up from my nap, but didn't want me to feel left out so he "dressed me up" to make sure my unconcious self would still be supporting France. What a cutie. Sadly, France and South Korea tied due to some outrageous reffing. Something we don't want to talk about too much around here . . .

Ouch, a touchy subject with soccer and refs considering who you married. I remember thinking as I was looking at his plethora of jerseys, "does this guy have any regular shirts?" Sadly, I don't think he does!
Nat,
Happy B-Day we love you baby. Remember Reno?
