We got a WHITE CHRISTMAS this year! Not only is that something unusual for it to snow here but it was unusual in Washington and Virginia as well. I think my boys have seen snow a grand total of 5 or 6 times in their lives! Christmas morning started out with a HUGE thunderstorm about 2 a.m. and continued pouring freezing rain all morning. I mentioned to N if we lived 10 hours further north we'd definately have a white Christmas. About noon we looked out the window and the rain had turned to snow! B was so excited and kept telling everyone God had given us a Christmas miracle. I think he was right! They wanted so bad to go outside and catch snow flakes on their tongues so I went out with them for a while. We didn't expect any of the snow to stick but it did! By 4:30 there was enough to have a real snow ball fight and make snow angels! And it stuck around for an extra day and a half! I believe it was our first white Christmas since we left Utah 7 years ago!
Snow angel--face down!
Crazy boy with snow in his face!
It was the first time E ever saw snow. She absolutely hated it and wanted to get inside as fast as she could!
