B and I made a special cake for N for Valentine's Day. It's called a Bouch de Noel, or a Christmas Log. N keeps talking about how much he misses the food from France, and that's something he particularly likes. I meant to make it for N at Christmas time, but as I was on bed-rest and had gestational diabetes at the time, it didn't happen. So, we gave it a try for Valentine's. B and I had a great time making it while S napped. S must have really enjoyed his nap--he slept over 3 hours! The cake didn't turn out very pretty, but it tasted pretty darn good.
