The Birthday Party

We did a combined birthday party for  S and E and had some friends over to celebrate.  I was a little worried when it rained that day.  What were we going to do with 16 and 16 adults IN the house????  But it turned out really nice and both kids and adults had a great time.  Thank you Aunt Shaunie!

 All but one of the guests were boys.  E wore her princess dress and worked in her kitchen while she observed the chaos till Emil (another boy, but her best buddy) arrived.

 Who cares about the rain?  S and his birthday guests went out and played in the mud anyway.  They had a great time getting dirty and kindly their mothers let them!

 This game N came up with to entertain the kids indoors.  Even the dads got into it and wanted turns.  Shooting down pop cans with Nerf guns.

 E in trouble.  She loves to collect the Nerf bullets and eat them.  She knows she's not supposed to.  Taking full advantage of the chaos around her trying to be sneaky.

 E LOVED the cake.  I believe she ate 4 pieces.  When everyone was in the boys room doing the pinata she went around the table and cleared off what was left over of everyone's cake.

 Opening gifts.  E sat on her gifts trying to stop the boys from "helping" her to open them. S just tore in and started opening his before anyone was even around to see him!  We'd had cake and pinata already, he figured it was present time!
