Baby Girl's First Birthday

Baby E is a year old! She's getting so big and she's so much fun. We love this little sweetheart. We celebrated her birthday a week late since she and Momma were pretty sick on her birthday. She still wasn't feeling well when we celebrated (poor thing's constantly got a cold and an ear infection--she will be getting tubes shortly, but that's another story,) but I was feeling well enough to actually make her cake. The boys insisted on cupcakes and helped me make them. B and S birthday cakes had turned out so cute I thought there would be no problem decorating cupcakes. Wrong! They were anything but cute, but E LOVED them. I think she managed to stuff four in her tiny little mouth!

E at one year: She's been pulling herself to standing lately! Hooray! Hooray! She has three teeth. She likes to drive S toy cars around, she sneaks around stealing the Nerf bullets from the boys Nerf guns and trying to eat them. She knows she's not supposed to and hides them behind her back and tries to get away as fast she can when she's spotted. Her favorite toy is Woody from Toy Story. She loves to eat, particularly ice cream. But she doesn't like pumpkin or blueberries. She really likes to sing and dance. She'll bounce right off her bottom when she's dancing. It's so cute! E loves to ask what things are and learn the word. She'll say "That! That! That! That!" and point at it until you give her the name and she'll try to mimick the word. She can say hi; bye; that; ya; what; up; bird; book; Momma; Papa; Grandma; Grandpa; mine; more; bottle; chocolate; Amen; pooped it; a bath and I love you. This girl is smart! And super DETERMINED. We're so proud of her. We love you baby E!

Well I guess she was feeling well enough for a snack. I can't believe how much she can say. Micah is 16 months and doesn't have nearly so many words!
