What a Day!

What a day--and it's only just begun! It started at midnight with Sebastien waking up and insisting he was ready to play. He didn't go to bed till after 2:00 a.m. Luckily for me, Nat is a very kind man and he sent me to bed at 12:30 and stayed up with him. Then about 3:00 a.m. I woke up writhing in incredible pain. I don't know why! After about 45 minutes I couldn't bare it any longer and went to get Nat. Poor thing felt utterly helpless. Thankfully he is not! With the help of a priesthood blessing I was able to go back to sleep about 5:00. The boys were up by 7:30. I tried to let poor Nat sleep even though I was exhausted myself and the pain was threatening to return. In less than an hour Bixente was already in time-out 4 times for beating up on his little brother, then they broke into the room and woke Nat up before I could stop them. Nat and I both had our nose's hit hard accidentally within seconds by one of the boys. And then the toilet overflowed full of all kinds of wonderfulness. So I was busy cleaning up a disaster in the bathroom while Nat cleaned up both of the boys. I now have multiple loads of laundry due to the clean-up and I already had 4 batches of clean clothes that I haven't had time to fold yet. And it's only 10:30. I'm afraid if things don't look up soon this is going to be a VERY LONG day!

I hope you feel better. Bad things happen in threes or fives or tens, but rarely just one at a time.

OH my word Kari! you poor thing:( Reading this made me think of the story you told about when you had morning sickness with Sebastian and had to change a horribly stinky diaper of Bixente's which made you vomit... So sorry:) Hope you feel better!:)

Sad morning .. I sure hope the rest of the day was better! At least you had Nat there to help thru it all, imagine trying all of that alone. Yikes! :)
