A Visit From Papi
My dad came out for a visit last week. He was finally able to meet B. B took to him right away. It was so much fun to have him here. We were able to go up to Washington D.C. and go to the temple while Papi and B played together at the Visitors Center. They sure had a good time. We also all got to go to the National Archives and see the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. And wouldn't you know it? We bragged about our beautiful southern weather, so it snowed and stuck to the ground for the first time since we came here while Dad was visiting. B had lots of firsts while Grandpa was here. His first tooth, his first swim in a pool, his first trip to the ocean, his first taste of chocolate mousse (which he LOVED bye-the-way), and his first time sleeping through the night! It was a great time. We miss you Dad!

Kari, I love the picture of your dad holding Bixente with the temple in the background. Did you take it? You've always had such an eye for photography.
I'm glad for your dad to finally meet your boy. Last time I talked to him, he couldn't wait! Glad it finally happened. And how perfect for Bixente to have so many firsts for him!
Well it's no wonder he slept through the night...he was worn out from all those "firsts." I also love that pic of him with your dad in front of the temple. It's beautiful.
What a good Grandpa. I just love your dad!
i love that last picture!! I dont think it gets much sweeter than that!!
Could there be a more perfect picture than the one with Dad & Bixente in front of the temple?!
