Our Sweet Babies

We had rain for one short hour and it cooled things down t0 88 degrees for a day! The babies and I decided to go out and take pictures. It appears getting them all to look at me at the same time is an impossible goal. Perfect pictures or not, our sweet babies are soooo stinking cute!

Hanging Around

And here we are just hanging around at home waiting for the weather to cool off a little bit! I don't have a lot of E because she's always in my arms or her crib or somewhere safe so her brothers don't squish her. (They love her just a little too much.) The boys really like being able to cool off in the sprinklers. Even with the A/C running on full-capacity the coolest it ever gets in the house is 80 degrees!

Utah

I'm not sure why this picture shows up so absolutely tiny, but here is the only picture we've got of N with his family in Utah. This is our niece Kamille. Such a doll!

Let's Go to the Park

We live in the most awesome location. Our house is near the end of a cul-de-sac and we can stroll down the side-walk about 10 houses and there's this great park and a little hockey/soccer field at the end. The kids and I were going every night after dinner to play, but we've had 110 degrees the last three weeks straight and even at 8:00 at night it's still around 102 so we haven't been for a while. But it was great while it lasted. The kids got plenty dirty, and the bubble bath every night when we got home was just about as fun for them as the park!

4 Years Old

I can't believe our first born is 4 years old!!! It seems like he's been here forever in some ways and like he was just a baby yesterday in others. He is such a smart little guy and a great helper and big brother. He was so excited about his birthday. I woke up that morning about 6 a.m. to him peeking over our bed with a great big smile, "Is it my birthday yet?" We had a very healthy breakfast of birthday cake that morning, as he was too excited to wait any longer! I was very proud of the Thomas the train cake I made for him. It was my first attempt at any type of cutesie cake. He and S both loved it! B is really into games right now, so he was totally thrilled with the Busytown game he got for his birthday. We love our B!

She's 6 Months Old

Our little princess is already six months old! She is doing great. She rolls all over the place, backward and forward and she is trying to crawl. She's certainly not up to it any time soon, but she is trying! She gets her little legs tucked up under her and her little behind poking up in the air and wiggles and jiggles trying to get somewhere! E can scoot though. She made it about two feet. It took her 30 minutes to do it, but she did it! What a determined little girl! She's still our happy little queen and most popular with her big brothers. E will take our faces in both of her hands, pull us down to her face and give kisses for as long as we'll let her. She is such a tender little angel! She tries to talk. She'll watch our mouths and move hers to, but she is very quiet. She doesn't make a whole lot of noise. Mostly she just moves her mouth. But she does have a few signs for what she wants! E is such a special little lady. How blessed we are to have her!

We Made it!

Well, we finally made it! Thanks to N's mom and step-dad flying us down and my wonderful sister Shaunie for flying with me and the kids! We are all so happy to see N again and see our house and neighborhood for the first time. B who had been insisting our new house was "a yellow house" took one look at it and said "It is yellow! It really exists!" This kid is amazing. It has been 110 degrees every day, which was quite the change from Washington where we'd only had one day that reached 70 degrees! We've spent a lot of time swimming and running through sprinklers. Aunt Shaunie took the boys to the theater for their first time. They loved it! And N and I got to go on a date. Woohoo! Other than that we've been doing a lot of unpacking. Just as packing was too much for S, unpacking seems to have worn him out as well!

The Last of the Idaho Trip

And here we have Kelli Darlene applying her make-up =)

Cooking with Grandpa. Love S's smile!

This kid does not have a problem with "stopping to smell the roses."

I wish I had a better picture of S with this cat. He adored the cat and it would follow him around like a dog. This kitty was well-fed when S was around!

Grandma telling bed-time stories

I mentioned my parents were moving while we were there. This is them at their new place.

Shaunie just sent me these pictures. I thought they were cute. (I knew there was a picture of E and Natalie somewhere!)

Floating and Fishing

This was one of the highlights of our trip! Floating Warm River and fishing with Grandpa and Aunt Kelli. Both boys caught their first fish!!!! Unfortunately, I was feeding E back at the campsite and missed it. Oh, well. At least they didn't miss it. They were so excited. B loved floating. S was a little bit scared, but once he went down the river with Grandpa instead of Mama, he was fine. E stayed back at the campsite with Grandma and took a nap while Grandma read a book. I'm so glad she did, so I actually got to float the river too! I haven't been able to do that since I was in college. We had a great outing.
